First, insert the CD you'd like to copy into the
computer.
Next, open Nero by clicking on the Start Menu, choosing
Programs, choosing Nero, and opening Nero Smart
Start

Once Nero begins, move the mouse pointer over Favorites to see the most common CD-writing tasks.

Next, pick the Copy Disc task.

When the copy configuration window appears, choose the
Burn tab. Make sure the Write box is checked. If you'd
like
to test the burn process first, also make sure that the
Simulation box is checked. After that, click on the Copy
button.

Nero will copy the CD to a temporary file, and then prompt you
to insert a blank CD. After you insert a blank CD, Nero
will begin to
burn the copy of the source CD onto the blank CD. When it's finished,
click on the Done button.

The Nero Smart Start window will open again. To close Nero, click on the Exit button in the lower right corner.

First, insert a blank or "open" CD into the computer.
Next,
open Nero by clicking on the Start Menu, choosing Programs,
choosing Nero, and opening Nero Smart Start

Once Nero begins, move the mouse pointer over Favorites to see the most common CD-writing tasks.

Next, pick the Make a Data Disc task.

A new window opens which allows you to drag and drop files you'd
like to copy onto the CD. The window furthest
the right represents the
files on the computer. The empty window on the left represents what you'd
like to have copied
to the CD. You can navigate through folders by
using the window in between the two windows previously mentioned.
To move a
file to be copied, drag it with the mouse to the appropriate window.

Once you've moved all of the files you'd like copied, choose the
CD drive on your computer, most likely D, from the
drop down box.

Next, choose the Burn option from the toolbar.

A Burn Compilation window opens. To create a name for your CD, choose the Label tab and enter the name.

Next, click on the Burn tab. Make sure that the
Write box is checked. If you'd like to add more data to the CD
in
the future, uncheck the Finalize CD box to leave the CD "open" for
future writing. Note: a CD left "open" may not
be readable in all
CD-ROM and CD-RW drives.
When the options are configured how you'd like,
click on the Burn button in the upper right corner.

When the burn process is complete, choose Done.

Exit the Burn Compilation window.

Exit Nero.

Continuing a Multi-session disc
A multi-session disc is a disc that can be written to multiple
times. If data is burned to a disc and the disc is not "finalized"
more
data can be written to the disc. When you want to write to a disc with
data already on it, another "session" is created.
Each time data is written
to the disc, it's created under a session. The first time data is written
is session 1, the second time
is session 2, etc.
Make sure the multi-session disc is in the computer and choose to Make a Data Disc as outlined in the previous section.
Drag the folders or files you'd like to write to the disc into the appropriate window (covered in Make a Data Disc).

Click on the Burn button.

Make sure the Multi-session tab is selected. The
Options check boxes pertain to how the files will be copied. By
having
Replace files in compilation check, Nero will check by data,
date changed, etc. and automatically update the files being
stored on the
CD. The Remove deleted files from compilation button will remove
(hide) files on the CD that are no
longer stored on the local computer.
It's recommended that the button remain unchecked. Add new files to
compilation
will add files, from a folder for example, that was dragged
into the CD write window that contains files that don't exist already on the
CD. Add new files to compilation should always be checked when
attempting to copy data onto the disc.

When the options you need are checked, click Burn to write the data onto the disc.
